Masenga
Story

This coffee is produced by hundreds of smallholder farmers based across the region of Masenga, in Burundi. It has been collected and processed by our Burundi partners Migoti Hill Washing Station.

Farmers of the Masenga region typically cultivate an average of 30 coffee trees per farm and they range in altitude between 1700 and 1800 meters above sea level.

Omwani's Take on this Coffee

James Wilkinson

Founder, Omwani Coffee.

With the abundant and prominent fruity flavours this coffee is a fantastic addition to any blend component aiding roasters to achieve those desirable complex flavour profiles that turn a great blend into an exceptional one.

The work that the Migoti team have achieved in coordinating and supporting the Masenga farming community for this coffee is something that we are truly proud to support from the UK.
